Transport Coordinator - Weekend Nights
We have an exciting role for a Transport Office Coordinator working with one of the world's biggest logistics providers in conjunction with one of the world's best-known prestige car brands. We are looking for an experienced transport coordinator to work out of our client's site in Solihull. This role is ongoing via Rapier Employment with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Salary
£33,750pa (£18.02ph)
Hours of work:
Friday/Saturday/Sunday
17:00 - 05:00
Days of work:
Friday/Saturday/Sunday
The Role:
- Working onsite, you will be responsible for 5 onsite vehicles delivering and collecting parts around the plant.
- Single point of contact for drivers and management
- Reacting to customer requests
- Arranging collections and deliveries onsite
- Driver brief and debreif
- Downloading driver digicards
- Answering calls and responding to emails.
Required:
- Transport office experience (essential)
- Ability to work a regular weekend shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
- Stable work history (references required)
- Excellent work ethic
- Flexible attitude
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Word/Excel) - ESSENTIAL
- Own transport preferred
