As Transport Manager your role will be to lead, plan and manage the Transport Department including routing, forecasting, driver training & development, driver management, compliance, fleet maintenance and other Transport functions.
Role Essentials
- Responsible for ensuring compliance is met and plans are in place to address areas of concern
- To ensure all legal requirements relating to Food Safety and Health and Safety are met.
- Promote an engaging culture through our values: Trust, Courage and Passion.
- Responsible for the complete cycle of people management.
Who we’re looking for
- Transport Manager CPC qualification (essential)
- Proven Management experience within a Transport environment
- Working knowledge regarding drivers' hours and working time directive as set by DVLA and DVSA
- Flexibility to adjust to varying hours according to the needs of the business
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to work smart in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Natural leader and relationship builder with excellent communication skills

Salary: 38,000 – 42,093 base salary dependent on experience

Hours: 42.5 hours, fully flexible 5 days over 7
