As Transport Manager your role will be to lead, plan and manage the Transport Department including routing, forecasting, driver training & development, driver management, compliance, fleet maintenance and other Transport functions.


Role Essentials


  • Responsible for ensuring compliance is met and plans are in place to address areas of concern
  • To ensure all legal requirements relating to Food Safety and Health and Safety are met.
  • Promote an engaging culture through our values: Trust, Courage and Passion.
  • Responsible for the complete cycle of people management.


Who we’re looking for

  • Transport Manager CPC qualification (essential)
  • Proven Management experience within a Transport environment
  • Working knowledge regarding drivers' hours and working time directive as set by DVLA and DVSA
  • Flexibility to adjust to varying hours according to the needs of the business
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ability to work smart in a fast-paced logistics environment
  • Natural leader and relationship builder with excellent communication skills

Salary: 38,000 – 42,093 base salary dependent on experience

Location: Totton, Southampton

Hours: 42.5 hours, fully flexible 5 days over 7
