Transport Planning Admin £25,000 Manchester We are working with a global transport business who are looking for a Transport Planning / Admin to join their team in Manchester. This is a chance to join a fast moving, dynamic business who offer plenty of opportunity to learn and develop new skills whilst progressing your career quickly. Your focus will predominantly be in the North-West, however you will have exposure to UK wide operations in a business who operate on an international scale and one who pride themselves on quick decision making and delivering on their promise. This role is working 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Gym & free parking on site. What you’ll doYou’ll plan the safe and efficient transport of products / cargo across the UK, working with drivers and liaising with customers.Ensure efficient routes are planned, utilising the fleet efficiently to deliver OTIF.Collate and prepare documentation for the loading and offloading of goods.Support the team with wider tasks and provide excellent customer service to the customer base. Experience you needA solid transport knowledge across vehicle and driver compliance, including hours.PC Literate, ideally with experience of Transport Planning systems.Customer Service experienceStrong communicatorExperience working within an effective team
