Travel consultant

Travel Consultants – Required for this expanding travel company to work from home. They are looking for four experienced travel consultants, ideally with USA sales experience to join the team. They will pay up to £20,500 Plus £1,200 working for home allowance plus comm, on target earnings around £30,000/£50,000.

Travel Consultants Duties
– Create high quality tailor made itineraries to the USA meet the customer’s needs .
– Booking flights, car hire, tours, excursions, cruises, park passes
-Providing each client with the most cost effective travel option within budget

Travel Consultants, Skills Required
– Extensive travel industry reservations experience either in a retail or a tour operator environment
-Ideally excellent knowledge of the USA, both selling and travelling to the region
-GDS knowledge would be an advantage
-Strong problem solving skills and multitasking abilities.
-Confident and friendly telephone manner and the ability to work well within a thriving team environment.
-Enthusiastic individuals who has the drive to succeed in sales and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Additional information
-Open 7 days per week, roughly you work 2 out of 4 Saturdays with a day off during the week plus the occasional Sunday
-For the first 6 months an extra £500 per month is added to your salary, training allowance
-Benefits include 20 days holidays rising to 25 days with service, birthday off, Dental plan, Wellbeing programme, pension, free eye tests, Fam trips, Holiday concessions, 3 in person events per year
