Is this you?

We are looking for an energetic, motivated and confident travel team leader who would be interested in a permanent position, due to growth plans. Heading up the day to day supervision of the current travel department, as well as booking yourself, you will be responsible for working with our established travel experts who deal with supporting our customers on a daily basis with their bespoke travel requirements/plans. A good broad current knowledge of the travel industry including packages, cruise, flights and the UK markets would be ideal along with at least two years in a supervisory/management roll, but any travel experience within the sector will be considered.



Main Responsibilities:
  • Assuming the day to day supervision of the Travel Team
  • Performing One to ones with the team including quarterly and year end appraisals and reporting back to line management when required.
  • Authorisation and management of staff rota & reporting
  • Assisting Senior management with reporting on trends and patterns to further bolster the travel division.
  • Building relationships both internally and externally with Colleagues, Senior Management and external suppliers.
  • Selling travel products in a professional manner and building relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Completing relevant administration tasks efficiently further enhancing excellent service throughout.
  • Actioning complaints in accordance with agreed company procedure to limit potential loss and/or escalation whilst also upholding our professional and efficient service.
  • Ensuring company and supplier knowledge is up to date to reduce the potential for colleague errors and omissions in line with current travel industry guidelines and legislation.

Essential skills:
  • Demonstrable recent work experience within the travel industry
  • Knowledge of bookings Packages, DP holidays, flights and UK Breaks.
  • Self-starter with a can do attitude
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role and possess a passion for customer first.
  • People orientated with a drive for engagement and team work
  • Proven working knowledge of travel booking and administration systems
