This role is an exciting new role to utilise your Treasury experience and manage impacts on this business’ Treasury risk appetite. You will forge and maintain relationships with stakeholders and take control of first line defence responsibilities and make a tangible impact on the risk function

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

• Oversee comprehensive risk reporting and performance indicators for escalation to operational risk monthly meetings
• Highlight areas requiring action and drive proactive risk mitigation strategies
• Partner with colleagues to educate on operational risk responsibilities and promote continuous process and control improvement
• Facilitate the design and independent review of SOX compliance and risk assurance testing for Treasury
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in testing methodologies
• Manage Treasury loss events by swiftly escalating and minimizing financial, regulatory, or customer impacts
• Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
• Uphold trust and confidence of stakeholders through vigilant risk management practices

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience working on treasury
• Experience working on RCSA and control testing
• Previous experience building relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
• The ability to maintain strong networks across a complex organisation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numerical degree from a Russel Group University.
