Job Description

We are partnering exclusively with an innovative digital mortgage bank from the fintech category who are in the process of building out their Finance function. The latest addition to the team will be a Regulatory Reporting Manager who will have responsibility for delivery of the Bank’s key prudential supervisory reporting and disclosure for Capital, Large Exposures, Leverage and Liquidity. The team acts as a centre of subject matter expertise for the business advising senior management and stakeholders within the functions. Hybrid working available

Role Description

  • Play a key role in the preparation of all regulatory reporting covering COREP, FINREP, FCA returns including MLAR, Product Sales returns and BoE Statistics at the Group and Solo level
  • Review key variances and trends and provide insight through concise commentary
  • Actively understand the UK CRR II rules and impact on the Bank’s reporting and disclosures
  • Develop and implement automated solutions to improve the regulatory reporting process, ensuring that appropriate source data is identified
  • Supporting the delivery of new regulatory changes through interpretation and impact analysis and contributing to implementation projects
  • Contributing to the wider finance team e.g. establishing MI for the firm's internal reporting requirements

Role Requirements

  • Broad subject matter expertise in regulatory reporting developed through your comprehensive reporting experience and knowledge of CRR II rules
  • Excellent communication, able to work collaboratively with peers in other functions and able to engage effectively with groups and a one-to-one basis
  • Proven capability to implement change and process improvement to the reporting process, acquired through your experience in creating efficiencies and automation within the reporting cycle
  • Possess an innovative and enquiring approach, able to diagnose and resolve issues
