UI Designer

Oxfordshire/Hybrid

£35-45k


This digital product agency based in Oxfordshire produce work for a global client base that rivals any London agency. They are looking for a UI designer who can within an agile UX team to create outstanding user interface designs for their world class clients. Depending upon experience, this role offers a salary of £35-45k (some flex if more senior) and they work a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

The role

This digital product agency are looking for a passionate and talented UI Designer who wants to create best-in-class digital experiences and have a strong voice within the agency, helping to shape the future of the agency and their client development.


Taking a user-centric approach, you strive to think differently, push boundaries and create engaging, innovative, and meaningful experiences for the agency and its’ clients.. You will have your finger on the pulse with all UI design updates and trends, being passionate about creating great UI design and be competent in designing in Figma.


You will be creating design systems and concepts across the digital experience from ideas through to execution, including interactions and animations. You’ll collaborate with content and UX to understand the brief, customer and business needs and prototype new ideas / templates to gather user and stakeholder feedback.

You’ll work closely with developers to build new patterns and features from idea stage through to UAT, diligently ensuring web and accessibility standards are met.


About you:

You have proven experience working in a digital design role within an agency environment, ideally a digital product design agency


You have a passion for great UI design and are constantly innovating and keeping up to date with the latest trends


Your portfolio showcases your UI designs and shows both your creative and technical ability

Proven design experience and knowledge of designing and testing design outputs across multiple digital touchpoints


You have experience working with UX designers, researchers, and developers

Excellent communication skills and an ability to work cross-functionally from gathering requirements to sharing across the wider business


Excellent skills in using Figma for UI Design and a bonus would be a knowledge of 3D design or Blender software.


Perhaps you are currently working in London or other parts of the country but are open to re-locating for the right role, or you may have originally lived in Oxfordshire and moved to a city for career prospects and are now wanting to move back to Oxford and enjoy a beautiful scenic location, without compromising on your career prospects, then this would be a great role for you.


Please note that as this digital product agency are based in a beautiful rural location in Oxfordshire, which is near Woodstock and Blenheim Palace, you would need a car to be able to commute to their office 3 days a week.
