We are focused on the attraction and recruitment, development and retention and progression of high calibre talent to ensure we and our clients benefit from the value of difference.Overview of RoleWorking within the R&CoPayroll team in London, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the UK and Guernsey payrolls (approximately 2500 employees and pensioners across 9 payrolls) Responsibilities Collate the monthly payroll data and provide to the payroll vendor – via a secure online portalReview and reconcile the output, work with the payroll vendor to correct as necessary and provide the appropriate reports for review and sign off by the Payroll ManagerEnsure that all of the relevant deadlines are met and that the payments are reconciled and made on time.Work with the wider Payroll team and other internal / external stakeholders to streamline processes. Provide high quality and timely customer service to employees and other stakeholders across all UK and Guernseybusinesses.Assist with the post-Payroll administration i.e. raising third party payments, distributing P45’s, preparing Payment After Leaving lettersetcResponsible for the processing of team invoices Prepare month end journals and monitor the SAP GL interface processShared responsibility for maintaining the team mailbox and answering queries in a timely mannerAssisting the Payroll Lead with ad hoc requestsInvolvement in New Joiner induction processExperience, Skills and Competencies RequiredMust have mid-level UK Payroll experience (5+ years).Must have previously worked within a payroll team environment.Must have a good working knowledge of statutorypayroll legislation / payroll calculations in the UK.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Vlookup, Pivot tables)Track record of developing positive relationships with outsourced payroll vendorsExcellent attention to detail and numeracy skillsGood communication skillsProactive and self-motivatedStrong analytical skills/critical thinking.Desirable ExperienceWorking with CloudPay as an outsourced payroll vendorYear End processing for the UK including P60, P11d and PSArole profile F
