Learn more about us. The UK electricity market is changing how market settlements operate under the Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) program. This is the largest change to the UK market operating model since deregulation in 1998, and a great opportunity to take on an exciting role within our UK service organization. Job description: Itron requires a Program Manager to lead the successful launch and enduring service delivery of the Itron Advanced Data Service (ADS) and work with other market participants, central bodies, and regulators in the overall program for market testing and accreditation. In this role, you have the authority to run projects on a day-to-day basis and are responsible for leading teams to deliver successful customer projects that span across multiple product streams. You manage resources, schedules, and financials and adhere to stage gate quality and control guidelines throughout the full project life cycle. You will work with internal and external parties to ensure that projects produce the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost, and achieve the defined business case benefits. Day to day : Provide on-site leadership for the ADS project team by motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones Full project scope and life cycle ownership: full implementation from initiation to deployment for major or several minor initiatives simultaneously Manage day-to-day projects activities and resources and chairs the project management team and governance meetings Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across all stakeholders Collaborate with Sales team and other stakeholders to manage customer communications, issues and opportunity identification Manage project and solution scope and changes Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution, assisting in dispute, negotiation and arbitration, as needed Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables and provide effective executive level communication Participates in required MHHS meetings and forums to ensure successful delivery of Itron ADS services Liaise with industry central bodies, the regulators and the representatives to represent Itrons requirements and interests Work closely with customers to support the definition of efficient processes that deliver customer business results Required profile: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience Successful track record of programme management experience, including tracking and planning customer projects Significant experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment You understand the Energy Utility landscape, and can demonstrate an understanding of the UK electricity market regulatory framework and awareness of up-coming changes You understand principles of electronic electricity meter data collection and meter data management To be successful in this role: Proven experience in managing complex projects and programmes, using traditional and agile project management methodologies Ability to guide, influence and manage customers through complex change management programs Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Support diverse and inclusive work environment What we offer: A key role to play in the UK electricity market transformation, Car allowance International and multicultural working environment, which provides a unique opportunity to improve the way we support our customers by interacting with colleagues and partners from all around the world.
