The role of UK Technology Legal Entity Governance SVP provides support for Legal Entity governance within either the UK Legal Entity Technology Governance teams, primarily in the areas of preparing materials for senior management & governance reporting, regulatory queries, planning, and more, to support effective decision making across all layers of management within the organization.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Tech Lead, who will support the specific requirements associated with the regulatory aspects associated with the UK Senior Manager Regime (SMR) and the role of the Senior Manager for Technology (SMF24), which require specific governance and documentation, including the maintenance of Regulatory Job Profiles, Statement of Responsibilities etc.

The role involves proactively liaising with the various geographical and legal entity partners & stakeholders across the wider Technology community on key priorities, significant projects, risk and control topics, regulatory initiatives, issues & audits, and more and acting as a key interface between the Europe & UK Technology organisations and other partners to drive the timely delivery on agreed key deliverables and working to ensure the organization’s goals and targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reporting to UK (CGML, CUKL, CBNA UK) or Europe (CEP, CGME) Governance committees including Business Risk & Control Committee, Executive Committees (ExCo) and Board.
  • Producing regular and ad hoc high quality management reports in line with agreed reporting schedules and ensuring the timely distribution of these against agreed Service Level agreements (SLA)s and using appropriate dissemination channels.
  • Coordinating information flows from partners.
  • Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint materials to include refreshing templates or quality assuring work produced by others.
  • Work as directed on PowerPoint and excel data files; receipting, storing, amalgamating, and creating summaries of key themes.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience of producing high quality and accurate reports for senior audiences in demanding timeframes.
  • Experience of learning new work/activities quickly.
  • A strong/intermediate experience of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and OneNote.
  • Experience of using Teams & SharePoint to store/retrieve files.
  • Extracting data from in-house systems.
  • Experience of either the Senior Manager Regime (UK) or the SEAR regime (Europe) would be an advantage.
  • Experience of providing materials intended for formal Board meetings or regulators would be an advantage.
