One of Scotlands largest Local Authorities are recruiting a valuation Surveyor to join their established team in the West of Scotland.
The Surveyor will contribute positively to asset management, development, valuation and disposal of operational and non-operational land and property assets as part of the Service provided to its Council and its arm's length organisations. There will be a need for cross-functional working and flexibility to deliver the the authorities Business Plan.
The role entails a hybrid working pattern with 2 days in office.
Salary up to £45k (DOE) + 19.6% Pension
Education, Qualifications
& Training
Full driving licence
Chartered Surveyor - Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
RICS Registered Valuer or eligible for Registered Valuer Status without the need for further assessment.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong valuation report writing skills.
Ability to carry out all aspects of property valuation.
An in-depth knowledge of the RICS Valuation - Professional Standards
Ability to conduct property inspections, preparing site notes and measured surveys.
Strong negotiation skills with previous experience in negotiating property disposals and acquisitions independently
Political awareness with the ability to think strategically and contribute to policy development.
A proven track record of dealing in a busy surveying environment in private or public sector.
Experience in deal making and delivery.
Able to utilise a wide range of industry contacts when required.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment, frequently under pressure, on multiple tasks.
Excellent time management, analytical and problem solving skills.
Evidence of strategic thinking whilst maintaining a firm grasp of operational priorities.
Skilled in the use of information technology including all Microsoft programmes.
Current market knowledge and technical skills with a commitment to CPD.
