Job Description

The Customer Value team is responsible for supporting our revenue teams in the motion to acquire, retain, and grow our customer base. You will collaborate with our Sales and Marketing teams to help craft executive level materials that articulates our business value proposition from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective. Additionally, you will help own our business value proposition and deliver business case justification and presentation materials which include collaboration with sales/sales engineering on net new and expansion strategic opportunities as well as customer success working on expansion opportunities of strategic accounts.

The Customer Value team is focused on not only helping our customers and prospects articulate a narrative behind the value of Pendo’s solutions but also on quantifying the impact on the customer organization. You will act as a trusted advisor to our global sales management team and account executives.

Responsibilities:

  • Value sell : Proactively seek out sales opportunities to initiate and/or support the business value process, including supporting the team in value discovery, building value assessments, and performing value focused workshops. Articulate the business value proposition and/or value realized in a concise, focused narrative using language each internal and external stakeholder understands.
  • Content creation : Craft reusable/self-service value assets that can benefit all segments as well as one-off deal value messaging specific to the outcomes an organization is looking to drive. Identify, lead and contribute to the creation of best practices, white papers, workshops, etc. Perform third party research as it relates to the growing digital adoption platform (DAP) market.
  • Enablement : Collaborate with Sales Enablement to educate the revenue organization on business value best practices and trends as well as the roll out of new value methodologies and newly created content.
  • Collaboration : Partner with account teams to conduct value assessments with prospects for new deals and current customers for renewal, upsell, and/or expansion opportunities. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a value/strategy consulting role or product marketing within the technology sector
  • Experience building and delivering executive level presentations and return on investment/business case assets
  • Ability to tell a succinct yet cohesive story in short presentation format (typically 1 - 3 slides)
  • Strong affinity for building presentations
  • Background of designing and delivering executive level presentations to CxOs in a concise manner
  • Strong quantitative analysis/modeling skills
  • Excel at working in a dynamic environment and interacting with team members across the globe
  • Bonus: familiarity with MEDDIC and Force Management methodologies
