About the role
We have a brilliant opportunity to join Virgin Media O2 as Value Creation Lead.
This role fits within the Capital Allocation team who are responsible for managing the financial planning (forecasting, 3/5/10 year plan and budget.)
The post holder will also report and analyse the performance of the business to senior stakeholders and our shareholders (LG & Telefonica Group).
The role leads on driving data-based insights across the entire VMO2 cost base and value creation imperatives. At the heart of this post is driving short and long-term cost advantages that generate value and efficiencies!!!
The role-holder will report to various internal partners . Key to this position is explaining progress and course correction on the overall VMO2 Value creation story across all key KPIs and Financial metrics !!!
The role will have significant exposure to the Director Of Capital allocation, CFO and Finance SLT.
The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent )
- A track record of using “Big Data”, mining and process enhancements.
- Experience of using excel, powerpoint, ThinkCell and ideally some experience of Essbase/SAP BPC.
- Demonstrate the ability to step back and look at the big picture to identify unusual trends or areas of focus.
- Evidence a background of presenting information to different departments.
The other stuff we're looking for
We'd also love you to bring;
- A history of managing changing deadlines and quick turnarounds of information, attention to detail.
- A background in prioritising - demonstrating an ability to respond to short-notice requests and tight deadlines.
- Previous experience in a leadership position.
