Overview Lookers Glasgow JaguarContract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: £33,000 - £43,000; plus OTE up to £6,000 (uncapped)Hours: (42) Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm, Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm on a rotaGlasgow Jaguar is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join their friendly team in a fast-paced yet rewarding workshop environment. Whilst working alongside experienced technicians, you will play a vital role in the team, carrying out vehicle repairs using the latest technology.This is a brilliant opportunity to learn from the aftersales manager, who you will report to, and develop your skill set with the support of the team. We can offer excellent career progression and training opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and EV training, to accelerate your career further!Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technologyConducting vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requestsCarrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customerWarranty repairs as per the manufacturer’s guidelines and relevant write up is completeTaking the customers vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectifiedComplete all relevant paperwork to a high standardThe ideal candidate will have the following to be considered for this role: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand or non-brand), and a full and valid UK driving licence. You’ll be self-motivated whilst being able to support your team, ambitious and eager to learn, and are able to work to and maintain the highest of standards to all vehicles that take a spin through our doors.Although previous JLR experience is desirable, it is not essential to be considered, as brand accredited training will be provided.
