Join Our Client's Team as a Senior Technician!Location: Leamington SpaWorking Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:00 - 16:45Friday: 08:00 - 12:30Reports to: Operations Manager / Managing DirectorSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)Overview:The Best Connection is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Technician to join our client's new production facility in Leamington Spa. This role focuses on the assembly and build of specialist military vehicle platforms. We're looking for someone who is ready to help establish an efficient and modern production facility and contribute to the initial builds of vehicle platforms.As a Senior Technician, you'll play a key role in assembling and preparing highly modified tactical and armoured off-road vehicles. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining exceptional standards of quality and safety. This position is ideal for someone looking to advance to a team leader role, where you'll be responsible for recruiting and building a team of technicians to meet future contract demands.Due to the nature of the work, candidates must either hold or be capable of obtaining UK Security Clearance.Key Responsibilities:Assemble, repair, and maintain vehicles to high standards.Inspect vehicles to ensure consistency and quality.Repair or replace defective parts and resolve issues.Road test vehicles and perform systems calibration.Maintain tools and critical lifting equipment in good condition.Develop and maintain checklists and assembly instructions.Complete administrative and operational tasks accurately and timely.Lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficiency and productivity.Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and external representatives.Adhere strictly to all environmental, Health & Safety, and Company policies and legislation.Essential Skills:Demonstrable skills as an automotive/motorsport technician.Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to meet high standards and deadlines.Proactive and enthusiastic approach.Full driving license.Desirable Skills:Experience or qualifications in electric vehicles.C1 driving license.Welding and/or machining qualifications.What We Offer:Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Opportunities for career advancement.The chance to be a part of establishing a cutting-edge production facility.
