The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us at Avenue Vets, Malvern! You will carry out a mixture of surgery and consulting that can be weighted for the right candidate.

Full time would be 4.5 days per week with varying shift patterns which we can adjust for the right applicant. You will be required to work 1:5 Saturday mornings between 8:30 am – 1 pm, this is equally shared across the team. Out of hours service provided by ChelVets. Weekday inpatient checks carried out by Veterinary Nurses and minimal weekend inpatient checks are shared equally between Vets and Veterinary Nurses.
The salary for this role is up to £58,000 depending on experience.
About Us
We are a modern practice in a relaxed traditional setting, located at the base of the beautiful Malvern Hills. We are in a great location for exploring the beautiful countryside in the surrounding area! Wales and The Cotswolds are a short drive away, but there are also great transport links from Malvern to Worcester, Birmingham, Bristol and London.
We have 3 consult rooms, dedicated cat/dog/small furry/isolation wards, an operating theatre, an imaging room, dental room, and dog kennels exclusively for staff so you can bring your dog to work. We have radiography, ultrasound, laser, endoscopy, dentistry room and visiting orthopaedic referral service. If successful you will be joining our excellent team of 5 vets, 6 nurses, 1 student nurse, 1 nursing assistant/groomer, 4 receptionists and our practice manager. We are a progressive practice that never sits still! We have a close relationship with a local animal shelter that we fundraise for, as well as provide their veterinary service.
Applicant Requirements
Our successful applicant will ideally be an experienced veterinary surgeon, but we would consider an eager progressive recent graduate. Candidate must be team player who wants to excel at their job whilst having fun and providing excellent patient and client care for our longstanding and extremely loyal client base.
