Veterinary Surgeon Hertfordshire
Purovets are proud to have an amazing opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a purpose-built, independent, vet-owned small animal practice in Hertfordshire. With an experienced and close-knit team of veterinary surgeons and nurses, you will be working in purpose-built premises that are equipped with the most up-to-date facilities to make sure that both the client and their pet will have a pleasant, professional experience while visiting the practice.
The practice itself is purpose-built and therefore equipped with all the best facilities and kit such as ultrasound, digital DR X-ray system, dental facilities including Dental X-rays, IDEXX lab, Endoscope, Advance AI diagnostic tools such as Imagyst, Signalpet and HT-vista, 2 consultation rooms, a fully-equipped theatre including orthopaedic kits, Tonometer and much more! The brilliant team is made up of two vets, 3 RVNS, 1 PCA and a wonderful reception team. They have a well-established and growing client base that provides an interesting array of cases.
The practice was established in 1985 in the Hatfield area and now has a flagship branch in St Albans; they pride themselves on being a local, independent, vet-owned practice that deliver a whole new standard of animal care. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious small animal vet to join a dynamic, privately-owned practice! This is a full time position with a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota and no out of hours work, allowing you to maintain a good work life balance. The practice requires an individual with at least two years of experience who is confident carrying out general consults and surgeries to a high standard and must possess excellent communication skills.
You will be working in St Albans, a historic city in Hertfordshire that blends ancient charm with modern vitality. Its rich Roman origins contrast with its bustling city centre filled with shops and eateries, and St Albans Cathedral, a stunning medieval landmark, adds to the city's rich cultural tapestry. Role:
- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
- 4 days a week, 9 hours a day (opening hours are 8:30am 7pm)
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am 12pm
- No OOHs
