The Role
Here at Martin and Carr Veterinary Surgeons, we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. You would carry out a range of duties, primarily consulting and operating. We offer a generous package dependent on experience, fully funded CPD, Professional Fees, Certificates and much more.
Ideally we are looking for a full time member of staff, however we are fortunate enough to have the flexibility in our rota to offer part time and flexi-time including a rota to fit around school hours, all fully negotiable to suit your requirements.
The full time rota would be as follows: 4 days a week with a shift pattern between 8:30am and 6pm. We switch the phones over to VetsNow so remote phone cover is required by the duty vet for 1 hour, with a nurse on site until 7pm.
The weekend rota is as follows:
1:4 weekends which consists of Saturday consults 9am – 1pm when VetsNow take over. In patients care if required will be on the same rota
Salary up to £65,000 dependent on experience + £5,000 welcome bonus + £5,000 relocation allowance + Private Apartment + Additional Benefits
About Us
We are a Tier 2 RCVS accredited surgery on the edge of the Cotswolds operating across three surgeries in Pershore, Evesham and Bredon. Our friendly team consists of 11 Veterinary Surgeons who are supported by an excellent team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Trainee Nurses, and dedicated Reception Staff. Our talented Vet team include an RCVS recognised advanced practitioner in general small animal surgery in addition to surgery and medicine certificate holders. We have a variety of advanced diagnostic facilities including, digital radiography, ultrasonography, and endoscopy, and also offer a wide range of orthopaedic and advanced surgeries.
