Veterinary Surgeon - Cambridgeshire
Purovets are thrilled to offer a new position for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the day team at a veterinary hospital in Cambridgeshire. The state-of-the-art building, completed in 2013, provides an exceptional environment for both clients and staff. Built on the site of their old practice, they maintain a local focus and are committed to serving the community as well as providing support and referral facilities to the wider area. The hospital provides a full range of services from routine preventative health care to advanced surgery and medicine. Their great team of Vets, Nurses and Receptionists are dedicated to providing a high level of compassionate care for the pets, and they have a great reputation in the local area.
They will consider a full-time or part-time rota. This role is responsible for delivering clinical care to the hospital's patients and making all interactions with clients fully focused on delivering value and exceptional service. They can offer flexible hours and permanent or fixed-term contracts.
The facilities are modern and well-equipped with full digital diagnostic facilities, an on-site laboratory, full operating theatres, and separate dog and cat hospital wards. They have a very experienced and empathetic team of vets, nurses and support staff, many with extra qualifications, to ensure that clients receive the best care available. They take pride in our excellent reputation for friendliness and a high level of expertise.
They believe in supporting and investing in their staff, investing in their facilities and ensuring that their clients receive only the very best, modern first opinion or specialist care. The staff are motivated and encouraged to gain additional certifications across all levels of employment and they offer career progression within the group.
You will be working in Whittlesford, a quaint English village in Cambridgeshire that charms with its picturesque landscapes and historical allure. Nestled along the River Cam, it boasts a rich heritage showcased in its medieval church and timber-framed houses. With a close-knit community, it offers a serene ambiance amidst its scenic countryside setting. Whittlesford boasts strong transport connections, notably with its railway station serving the Cambridge-London line, providing swift access to both cities. Road networks like the M11 and A505 further enhance connectivity, offering commuters and travelers seamless routes towards Cambridge, London, and nearby towns, fostering convenient regional accessibility.
