Job Description
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a temporary position covering maternity, ideally starting in March 2021 for 12 months. This is predominantly a small animal role with the opportunity of some mixed (cattle, sheep, equine) work if it is desired. Working as part of our team divided between our two sites in South Molton and Barnstaple. The role is a full time position which will include weekends and OOH on a rota basis. We are a modern, well equipped and highly experienced mixed two site veterinary practice in North Devon. Our modern surgeries are fully equipped with state of the art operating facilities, digital radiography, ultrasound, emergency hospitalisation, on-site laboratories and pharmacies. Likewise we actively encourage Continuing Professional Development among our staff so that we can always offer the latest treatments. Some of our vets also hold postgraduate qualifications. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member with a good sense of humour who is committed to providing a high level of client care. Experience across full range of small animal duties including small animal surgery, diagnostics and medicine would be preferred but guidance and help will always be available.
