Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking for a change in career? If so, Purovets has a fantastic opportunity for you.

Our client, a RCVS accredited small animal practice, is located in a quaint village in Buckinghamshire. They are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a full-time basis. This practice has an excellent reputation for providing high-quality care while maintaining a passion for their work.

The practice handles a variety of cases, from first opinion caseloads to major surgeries. Typical cases include neutering, spays, dentals, minor surgeries, cardiac scans, endoscopy (rhinoscopy, otoscopy, colonoscopy), laparoscopy, keyhole surgery, fracture repair, and stifle TTA's.

Fully equipped with diagnostic, laboratory, surgical, and hospitalisation facilities, the practice ensures high clinical standards in patient care, referring to specialists when necessary. They perform their own cardiac scans, endoscopy, laparoscopy (over 90% of spays are keyhole), fracture repair, and stifle TTA's. Surgical procedures are enhanced with advanced equipment such as bipolar diathermy, harmonic scalpels, and "Enseal" devices. Dental care is supported by dental x-rays, air-driven equipment, sharp instruments, and the "Vet-tome," making dental procedures efficient and enjoyable.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of six Veterinary Surgeons (five FTE), six Registered Veterinary Nurses, one Student Veterinary Nurse, and a Veterinary Care Assistant. This long-standing, mostly home-grown team fosters a progressive and welcoming environment, dedicated to providing top-class veterinary care.

If you are ready to make a career change and join a practice that values high-quality care and team camaraderie, we would love to hear from you. Apply now to become part of this exceptional team.
