The Role
We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at South Lincs Veterinary Centre on a weekend basis. There will be a mixture of consults and emergency procedures Our consults are between 8.30am-12.30pm followed by surgical procedures if needed. You will be working alongside another vet and a team of nurses and receptionists.
Weekend shifts can be flexible to either both Saturday and Sunday one week or Saturday or Sunday only (Saturday 8.30am-4pm or Sunday 8.30am-3pm).
Salary
The salary for this role is up to £70,000 (FTE) depending on experience.
About Us
We are a busy hospital that covers our own practices weekend work and various other local practices emergencies.
Our practice is located 40 Minutes from Peterborough and Lincoln. We have a wide range of facilities such as CT, Dental X-ray, DR X-ray, Endoscopes, Class 4 Laser, 4 Theatres, 7 Consulting Rooms, dedicated inpatient vet. Clinical freedom is encouraged.
We have a supportive and experienced team of vets and nurses in the group, having the extra vet on a weekend will aid our patient care.
About the Team and Culture
Currently we have 15 Vets, 14 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 7 Student Nurses and 15 Veterinary Care Assistants and Animal Care Assistants. We also have certificate holders in Surgical, Orthopaedics, Medical, Ophthalmology, ECC.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a friendly and experienced Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working in a busy environment. 2 years’ experience and fully qualified is required.
