Veterinary Surgeon - Essex - Independent Practice  Location: Essex Hours: 37.5 hours per week over four weekdays  Salary: £40,000 - £70,000, depending on experience and skill set Type: Full-time, Permanent About: A proudly independent veterinary practice with a fantastic reputation in the local area. The team is dedicated to providing high-quality care with a personal touch, blending good old-fashioned GP vetting with modern equipment and facilities. With this independent practice, you'll find a supportive environment, loyal clients, and a commitment to remaining independent for decades to come. The Role: I am searching for a skilled and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. This is a full-time position with the aim of creating a "floating" role on Mondays and Fridays to provide additional support wherever needed. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with extra consults Placing catheters Fulfilling repeat medication requests Performing routine and advanced surgeries  You will be working alongside two vets on two days, with sole charge required only on Saturday mornings. On Wednesdays, you will work with an experienced colleague, while on Thursdays, you'll collaborate directly with the practice owner. Working Hours: Monday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Tuesday: Day off Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Thursday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM Whats On Offer: Job Security: A promise to remain independent until the owner retires (and hopefully beyond!)
