Job Description
Our client is looking for aVeterinary Surgeon to join theirteam of 7 vets. They are dual location so can be flexible over which branches the new candidate works at, either their hospital and a branch, or just a branch. The role will involve a mix of consulting and surgery. They require an experienced, confident, enthusiastic vet, ideally with previous sole charge experience and the ability to fully work up a full range of medical and surgical cases. Theypride themselves on providing an excellent service to their clients and their pets and take care of a varied caseload.
This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to enjoy a superb work/life balance with a 4-day week, no out of hours, 2:6 weekends. Saturday shifts are from 8:00am-4:00pm and 9.00am to 12.00pm We would consider part-time and flexible working.
Theyoffer excellent progression opportunities, offering you the opportunity to support the CD and be involved with the financial aspect of the business, as well with the ongoing development of the team and practice. There may also be the opportunity for the right candidate to progress to Clinical Director Level in the future.
The team of Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a fantastic group of 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Animal Care Assistants and experienced Receptionists across the Group. The CD has an interest in soft tissue surgery and is happy to assist other vets with new procedures. The management team are very experienced and work continuously to provide an environment where all staff feel valued, listened to and provided with a developmental pathway. The team is friendly and supportive throughout and ensuring the mental and physical well-being of all staff is a high priority for those in leadership and management roles.
Salary is up to £65k pa DOEwith an additional relocation allowance of up to £5k if required.
