Job Description

VM Manager - Crew Clothing/Ben Sherman Purpose of the role: Reporting to the Head of Marketing the VM Manager is responsible for adopting and interpreting the broader brand direction and applying this to windows, in-store layout and appearance of Crew Clothing and Ben Sherman across all channels.  Working closely with the Creative teams the main objective of this role is to increase sale and buyer attention through the use of point of sale, merchandise layout and in-store guidelines as well as drive an elevated customer experience through all physical touchpoints in retail. Responsibilities: Defining, designing and implementing the creative visual merchandising strategy for all Crew Clothing and Ben Sherman stores. Deliver aspirational use of product through consistently strong visual statements and product handling Create visually exciting installations whilst referencing the brands / marketing direction season on season Efficiently manage all VM requirements for new store openings across both brands, whilst maintaining expectations of key stakeholders as well as store opening budgets. Ensure that both brands are positioned visually effective within the market to promote profitable growth Research new VM techniques to ensure Crew and Ben Sherman remains ahead of competitor standards and drive the product strategy. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure styling across the retail estate is in line with the current brand direction look and feel. Deliver consistently, product handling and layout guidance to all stores in accordance with the central marketing calendar as well as VM training tools. Ensure the VM function maintains exceptional service standards to both store and Lydden Road departments as and when required Drive the development and implementation of retail marketing initiatives and activations as well as brand execution of PR events, including bespoke elements. Manage departmental budget and 3 subordinates   Key Skills Key Skills: Essential – Experience in a similar, in-house HO VM role at a multichannel retail company Excellent knowledge of Visual Merchandising processes and principles An understanding of content development including store guidelines and planograms Ability to understand, translate and deliver store merchandising campaigns to deadline Demonstrates innovative thinking and strong creative execution Experience and interest in fashion and clothing brands and marketing Awareness of production process for print elements and prop elements General:  Adaptable, high level of attention to detail, good communicator, can-do and positive attitude, able to work to deadlines. Desirable – Relevant qualification/degree course
