Vulnerable Children Partnership and Business Development Lead

Location: This is a national role working across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and travel will be required. The postholder will be expected to be based in our client's London or Leeds offices two days per week.

Salary: £43,000 - £48,000

Our client is a children's reading charity dedicated to getting children reading. They know that children who read are happier, healthier, more empathetic and more creative. They also do better at school. They work with a variety of partners to get children excited about rhymes and stories. Because if reading is fun, children will want to do it.

Our client is ambitious to do more for the most vulnerable children in society, including cared-for children, those at the edge of care and those previously in care. This is one of their key strategic priorities and they have big plans. They are looking for someone to lead the development of their learning and commercial partnerships within the sector and work with teams across the organisation to create fantastic offers for vulnerable children.

Our client is looking for someone with:

- Strong experience working in organisations that work with children in need, in care or on the edge of care.

- The ability to build, grow and maintain great partnerships that drive work forward.

- A purpose driven, business development outlook.

- The ability to work across disciplines to deliver outcomes for children.
