Main Duties and Responsibilities Receive, handle, and store all warehouse goods and materials in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality. Perform regular stock checks and inventory audits to maintain an accurate inventory. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by adhering to housekeeping standards. Ensure the proper labeling and storage of goods to optimize space and efficiency. Assist in loading and unloading deliveries, verifying the quality and quantity of goods received. Monitor the condition of the warehouse equipment and perform routine maintenance or report any issues to the Warehouse Manager. Follow all health and safety guidelines, reporting any potential hazards or accidents immediately. Support the Warehouse Manager in daily operations and provide updates on warehouse activities and performance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse and logistics operations. Perform any additional duties as required to support the operational needs of the warehouse. The Person One or more years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift license preferred but not essential). Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects. Basic knowledge of inventory management systems. Understanding of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workload.
