Warehouse & Logistics Manager

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

My client is a premium beauty and wellness brand.

Due to rapid growth and expansion, the opportunity to recruit a Warehouse & Logistics Manager has arisen. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role within an FMCG business turning over at least £8M per annum


Responsibilities


  • Manage the relationship with third party partners and suppliers
  • Ensure there is a cohesive approach to stock management
  • Analyse data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and warehouse activities.
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Coordinate inventory management activities, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
  • Create work schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet workload demands.
  • Implement quality control procedures
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies.
  • Work closely with customer service teams to ensure accurate and on-time order deliveries.
  • You will be part of the Operations leadership team, where you will contribute to key strategic decisions of the business.


Requirements


  • Proven experience in warehouse management and operations within the beauty and wellness industry or a similar FMCG environment within a business turning over at least £8M
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • NetSuite ERP, Shopify and Monday.com experience
  • MS Office Experience particularly with Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
