PHP Web Developer - (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, React, AWS) - Fully Remote
£40K - £50K plus benefits (25 days annual leave + bank holidays, remote work, flexible hours, pension, £2000 to set up your home office)

An ambitious FitTech company who offer a platform to allow people to train and connect with each other, are looking for a new talented Web Developer to join their growing team. The app allows friends and rivals to analyse their competition and training efforts, as well as compete with anyone in the world from anywhere in the world. Their growth over the last 12 month has been staggering, and the next 12 months look no different.
They have a real family feel within their culture, which they pride themselves on creating by having optional regular meet ups for the team to have some face-to-face time every now and again, despite being run on a Fully Remote basis. The Role
You'll be joining a growing, ambitious group of passionate creatives, engineers and technologists and be an integral part of a small team as it continues to grow.
The specific requirements of the role are maintenance and improving their API and Web App. You will be working with the development team to produce API endpoints and front-end screens to facilitate native-app development, and to prototype new features.
They're looking for someone who ideally has:
Strong knowledge of Laravel, React, Redux, and relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL)
Experience of writing tests
Proficient understanding of using code versioning tools (Git / SVN)
Experience working with AWS services
Experience of CI/CD tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience of working in an agile team environment
