This leading luxury retailer is looking for a Web Manager. Reporting into the Social Media & Content Director you will oversee the development, maintenance, and optimisation of all aspects of the organisations website. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and creative insight to ensure the website effectively represents the brand, meets its objectives, and provides an optimal user experience.

The Web Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and maintain web initiatives, while staying updated on emerging web technologies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the website, ensuring it is visually appealing, technically sound and user-friendly
  • Extensive product uploads, which requires meticulous attention to detail with naming and pricing
  • Manage content updates, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency across the web pages.
  • Coordinate with designers, and content creators to implement new features, functionalities, and design enhancements.
  • Perform regular audits to identify and address any issues related to performance, security, and usability.
  • Oversee the publishing of web content, including text, images, videos and other multimedia elements.
  • Optimise the search engines information in line with the content team to improve visibility and drive organic traffic to the website
  • Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing website layouts, navigation structures, and interactive elements.
  • Implement usability testing and feedback mechanisms to continually improve the website's UX and accessibility.
  • Lead web- related projects, from planning and requirements gathering to execution and evaluation. Working closely with developers/external agencies, IT and our Central team
  • Manage direct reports

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of luxury retail, fashion industries
  • Technical responsibilities: Daily CMS management covering all aspects of Website & App management (Contentful and Umbraco systems for website, App CMS, MappedIn for Map, and Cisco for Wi-Fi Portal management)
  • Analytical tools for website and app data (GA4/GA 360/Looker Studio)
  • Behaviour analytics tools for heat maps/user behaviour (Hotjar)
  • Adobe Creative Suite for resizing and optimising images for upload (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Impeccable communication skills: writing, content development, presentation
  • Balanced commercial acumen with creative flair, exemplified through proven track record of implementing successful and innovative marketing campaigns.
