Job Description:

The Role

Over the past three years we have been growing our CMS and content platform capability. This covers strategy, technical design, development and ongoing management. As we have done this we have also connected with our European consulting and delivery practices. Within this structure we are looking for someone to join the team who can lead our clients in running their digital platforms. You will be joining a group who passionately create premium customer and business user experiences. We want people who can help build relationships with clients, shape solutions, drive quality and enjoy life a Merkle.

As a Web Operations Lead you will be the day to day lead for one of our largest clients. You will play a key role in supporting a large service team including content managers, developers, analytics, site optimisation and test teams. You will consult with clients on more complex briefs to ensure they are clear and make best use of the tools and platforms to deliver high quality customer experiences. You will act as one of the main interfaces between our domain experts and executions teams and business and marketing stakeholders.

You will have experience in web content management and be a strong communicator. We will empower you to make decisions and will ideally take pleasure from guiding clients and shaping the world around you. The role does require an attention to detail and being able to identify areas for quality improvement. This improvement would cover end customer experiences as using data available to find where we can achieve greater efficiencies in processes, ways of working or through automation.

Qualifications:

Key attributes and experience

  • Excellent communicator, internally and with clients
  • Experience with Jira and or Workfront
  • Working within an ongoing client support, development or operations function
  • A good understanding of the web development and content configuration lifecycles
  • Experience with design teams and high level understanding of user experience principles
  • A high level understanding of content production, search engine optimisation, site measurement tools, testing and optimisation tools, and campaign marketing
