About this role:

We are looking for a Website & UX Manager to be responsible for the presentation & usability of our D2C and Trade websites, under a 12 month maternity cover contract. You will be responsible for ensuring user experience & site performance are continually improved, seeking conversion rate gains and developing customer facing solutions to drive AOV, whilst always delivering a consistent nkuku brand experience.

Product presentation, navigation, information & inspirational content are all key components and will require a keen eye for both commercial attributes and UX. Measuring and understanding user behaviour along with product sales patterns will be essential in building experience to enable you to maximise sales potential across the website. Responsible for 2 experienced direct reports, you will continue to develop an excellent team ethic, using your knowledge and experience to further enhance team output.

About your responsibilities:

  • Manage website presentation and online brand experience for D2C & Trade Websites.
  • Manage the website team.
  • Ensure user experience is continually developed.
  • Manage website product merchandising & navigation, including research and implementation of Apps to optimise.
  • Coordinate Shopify Apps ensuring suitability & cost-effective use.
  • Working closely with Brand, Creative and Digital marketing teams to enhance site content.
  • Support our SEO development ensuring best practice is part of the teams BAU and changes recommended from our SEO agency are adopted and adhered to.
  • Manage campaign launches ensuring campaign consistency and UX are at the highest possible standards, using data to inform marketing team on category and product performance.
  • Manage seasonal product launches ensuring accuracy of product data & information.
  • Manage website development agency, including retainer agreements, job and time allocation, ticket briefing, pre & post live sign off, help desk tickets.
  • Build wireframes for development and manage projects that sit across departments.
  • Stakeholder for eCommerce in Critical Path - ensuring alignment with the wider business.
  • Post purchase review management - communicate findings with team/wider business.
  • Provide reporting/data to the wider business where relevant.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support eCommerce processes.
  • Maintain excellent communication with all departments where ecommerce interacts and impacts.
  • eCommerce stakeholder representative for business wide projects.
  • Monitor competitor and market leading websites.
  • Train and develop team members, prioritising their workflow and developing their skill sets.
  • Pro-actively develop you technical and UX knowledge.

About your skills and knowledge:

  • Experience of managing & optimising eCommerce websites.
  • Prior experience working with the Shopify (preferred) .
  • Able to demonstrate excellent commercial eCommerce acumen.
  • Excellent eye for detail, with a passion for brand & product.
  • Good understanding of SEO and site performance optimisation.
  • Proven track record of managing 3rd party providers.
  • Experience in analytics tools, with ability to demonstrate practical application of reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Interest in Home & Garden products preferred.
  • Prior experience in digital marketing (non essential).
