We are on a HUGE RECRUITMENT DRIVE for one of our biggest clients who are based in the heart of Winsford Industrial Estate.We are seeking individuals that are looking to join an expanding, popular company and start your career with a company that invest in their staff.Welder Days: You will be responsible for welding assemblies to a high level of quality. You will be able to read and understand technical drawings and specification sheets and be able to identify weld symbols. You will be responsible for carrying out precision measurements and accurately marking out. You must be able to select the correct materials and be skilled in cutting materials by burning, disc cutting or by machine.Responsibilities Include: Following technical drawings and specification sheetsMIG welding to a high standardResponsibility for your own PPE and welding equipmentMust be able to work individually or as part of a team to meet production targetsFollowing clear instructions from team members and senior colleaguesAdherence to health and safety rules and regulationsMaintaining production area housekeepingMinimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficientlyMaintaining a safe working environment at all times The company requires all employees to adopt a flexible approach to work and you will be required from time to time to perform other duties. We will ensure that you will be adequately trained to carry out these tasks.Skills and experienceThis role is ideally suited to a hands on, organised, proactive and self-motivated individual. Suitable candidates will have: Hands on manufacturing experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturingHigh quality assembly experience of specified materials such as MIG welding, mild steel, 3mm – 20mmDemonstrate skillset using various hand toolsReading and working from drawingsAbility to ensure production target output and quality is maintained Salary £34,096.00pa (£15.80ph), overtime available Working Hours:Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday – Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday.You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require.
