Calling all skilled welders and fabrication enthusiasts! We're on the hunt for a talented individual to join our esteemed Engineering Manufacturing Company. Get ready for a thrilling opportunity packed with hands-on action, crafting top-notch Food Processing Equipment for clients both locally and internationally.
What You'll Do:
Dive into the world of welding and fabrication, mastering stainless steel materials ranging from 1.0mm to 12mm thickness, including pipework/purge. We utilise both Tig and Synergic Mig welding processes, so bring your expertise to the table. You'll need to decode engineering drawings like a pro, understand tolerances and bend allowances, and manoeuvre fabrication and sheet-metal machinery like a seasoned pro.

Collaborate seamlessly within a team, whether you're in the bustling production hub or out on a client's site.
Keep your finger on the pulse of all aspects, from Health & Safety to Production, Inspection, and Discipline.
What We're Looking For:
?? A dedication to quality engineering standards, whether you're in the factory or on-site. ?? A commitment to upholding safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and punctuality. ?? City & Guilds Qualifications in Welding and Fabrication or an Apprenticeship in a recognised Engineering environment would give you a stellar advantage.
Your Work Schedule:
Prepare yourself for a dynamic workweek, with:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm / 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 pm (unless you're rocking overtime)
And speaking of overtime:
It's often available and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate from Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings. We might ask for a bit of extra effort from time to time, so flexibility is key.
