Key Details
Communications Lead & Storyteller
3 month freelance contract, start date negotiable, responsible for your own tax & obligations
3 days a week, equivalent
Flexible working, from MAIA HQ in central Birmingham and remote, where appropriate
£3000 fee, plus necessary allowances.
Possibility of extending the contract.
The Role: Overview
You will be a key contact for our artistic and local community and you will manage the way we speak about the work we’re up to, in visual, auditory and written forms.
Working closely with the Head of Design, you will create outputs that amplify the work. You will be able to make sense of complexity and help us to communicate that with a range of different audiences, ensuring narratives are accessible and reflective of the sauce of MAIA.
A critical thinker and interrogator, comfortable to challenge and be challenged, with a deep passion for community working
A storyteller, a powerful communicator, in written and visual forms, with a technical skill, e.g. graphic design, illustration, photography, etc. Own laptop required.
