Job Description

Wholesale and Retail Merchandiser - Mat Cover 7month FTCAs a Wholesale and Retail Merchandiser at Rapha you will be responsible for the stocks across the Clubhouse and Wholesale network. On the retail side you will own the grading process and deliver the most efficient stock plan that satisfies the global clubhouse demand. Your detailed knowledge of the Clubhouse network and customer demographic will ensure the correct ranges are delivered in the most commercial way. Wholesale is a now an established retail channel that builds upon Rapha’s global brand positioning and awareness through strategic partnerships in existing and new territories. The wholesale channel is fast becoming an important part of Rapha’s marketing and customer acquisition model as we strengthen our partnerships.This is a maternity cover role with the option to start from August/September 2024 for 7 months. Retail Work with Finance to set the budget and weekly sales targets for all Clubhouses Plan seasonal targets at department/collection/category level to build out grading Deliver a robust seasonal grading across the global network of Clubhouses to deliver against the trading plan Constantly review and improve the grading and ranging process to deliver the most efficient stock packs into the network Manage the sale and promotional plans to deliver set targets whilst minimising terminal stock in the network Stock plan for major events across the Clubhouse calendar, working closely with regional teams Agree stock cover levels at department/collection with the allocator to maintain correct levels of stock throughout the season Attend and input into the range review meetings using regional feedback supported with analysis Own the stock planning for any Clubhouse opening or relocation Work closely with logistics to deliver accurate seasonal allocation forecasts Produce weekly Clubhouse sales analysis, with actions and recommendations for the teams, react to any opportunities Review with the allocator the stock performance at Clubhouse level and target any opportunities Drive space productivity in Clubhouse, work closely with VM to maximise potential Visit Clubhouses in season and work with VM and retail teams to ensure space in Clubhouses is optimised to deliver highest opportunities. Wholesale Work alongside the wholesale sales managers to ensure the revenue targets are aligned to inventory planning and availability Ensure accurate delivery dates, pricing structure and desired margins have been agreed between all parties to maximise revenue and profit. Work closely with the merchandise function, delivering timely forecasts, including large Wholesale partner buys well ahead of the ordering milestones. Manage the size bias by region as well as being mindful of Northern/Southern hemisphere requirements Analyse sales performance to ensure the ranges are tailored for the future commercial needs of the regions Manage all reporting for the area of the business, including stock level availability to inform regions of any risks and future intake. Develop a robust pricing structure for all existing, new and emerging market. To understand each market requirement in relation to duty, shipping, and COGS. Report against defined objectives on the wholesale roadmap to ensure all deliverables are achieved on time. Work collaboratively with the Wholesale Operations team Consistent communication with finance to review phasing and forecasting Develop a commercial range plan that can deliver the required revenue & sell through targets for each region. Agree tiered range packs ahead of the buying season aligned with the product strategy of the rest of the businessThe Candidate Experienced in multi-channel merchandising, has a good understanding of both retail and wholesale.
