Job Role: Women's Early Intervention Worker

Salary: £13,464 - £14,287 (full time equivalent £22,440- £23,812)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Basingstoke

Additional information:

On-call (1 every 4 days), £100/week when on-call
Participate in an Outreach rota and work occasional weekends and evenings when required

The Role:

The Women's Early Intervention worker will provide comprehensive, holistic assessment and support planning and review for women with a range of complex social and housing needs. Coordinate early interventions to prevent women from becoming homeless, while providing rapid assistance to women sleeping rough so they situation does not become entrenched.

Responsibilities include:

Work in close partnership with the outreach team and with relevant external agencies.

Progress and track referrals into the service for women who are homeless or at risk of becoming so.

Complete new, and review, assessments for clients leading to the delivery of full support plans which meet individual client needs and goals.

To give clients advice, information and provide an enabling service so that they can access appropriate services.

Maintain client records ensuring they are accurate and fully updated using our client record system.

Since job descriptions cannot be exhaustive; the post holder may be required to undertake other duties, which are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs.
A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work.
Able to build effective relationships with clients and services in order to develop pathways to enable clients to make positive changes.
