Job Description

Frazer Jones is now representing a business-to-business consulting firm based in the heart of central London. We are now searching for a well-seasoned Workday HRIS Lead (Global)

to join this organisation on a permanent basis. The organisation has recently undergone a full systems implementation on Workday; you are to join the firm’s Systems and development team and manage the day-to-day activities of the new System. The responsible incumbent will have a hand on technical changes and administration of Workday. Acting as a third line support for Users and develop enhancements – Report writing; support for interfaces; management of the bi-annual upgrades; prioritisation and delivery of works driven by user/external led improvements.

The role reports into a Head of IT (Global) and a Head of HR Analytics. Role is hybrid working, with 2 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Workday and system support structures (including providing AMS service assistance) and help enable the maintenance of training and knowledge base materials (including regression testing packs).
  • Systems Administration and user permissions. Proactively manage user capabilities to ensure excellent control environment.
  • Be the first in understanding Report writing – configure & maintain the outputs for the standard HR catalogue of reports.
  • Collaborate with wider people team and stakeholder groups including external service providers to facilitate in the continuous design, build, testing and delivery of planned releases and system maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for internal and external audit reviews, ensuring responses and data are provided in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to end-users, application and performance monitoring, downtime procedures.
  • Analyse, configure, and optimise appropriate Workday related Business Process workflows, and conduct testing on specified schedules.
  • Be the first to look at Workday trends, being involved in new implementations of modules and help the support for the bi-annual Workday feature releases.

Skills Required:

  • Workday experience is essential, further training will be provided to the successful applicant.
  • Experience working with Workday HCM and Financials (preferable)
  • Good understanding of organising and manipulating data
  • Good understanding of common industry standard business practices with regards to key functional areas is essential, including:
  • Finance/ HR business processes
  • Core HCM including talent & advanced compensation module required.
  • Data management including static and master data management.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge required.
