Position: Youth Worker Location: Primary Schools in L12, L13, L14 Employer: Teaching Personnel Start Date: September 2024 and October 2024 Contract Type: Flexible part-time hours About the Role: As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of primary school pupils. Your responsibilities will include: Providing individual and group support to students, helping them overcome personal and academic challenges. Developing and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote positive behavior, self-esteem, and life skills. Working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development. Requirements: Experience working with children in a similar role (e.g. support work, pastoral leader, mentoring, teaching assistant). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Desirable: Relevant qualifications in youth work, education, or a related field.
