Position: Youth Worker Location: Primary Schools in L12, L13, L14 Employer: Teaching Personnel Start Date: September 2024 and October 2024 Contract Type: Flexible part-time hours About the Role: As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of primary school pupils. Your responsibilities will include: Providing individual and group support to students, helping them overcome personal and academic challenges. Developing and implementing engaging activities and programs that promote positive behavior, self-esteem, and life skills. Working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development. Requirements: Experience working with children in a similar role (e.g. support work, pastoral leader, mentoring, teaching assistant). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Desirable: Relevant qualifications in youth work, education, or a related field.
